Meet the Analog Mom

Sara O’Malley is a communicator, connector and community builder with a career that spans twenty years. Across every chapter, her work has centered on one core belief: strong communities are built through relationships, trust and showing up where it matters most. With experience shaping stories in fast-moving environments and translating vision into impact through a decade-long career in public service, Sara brings both strategic insight and a heart for everything she does.

Outside of her professional career in business development, Sara is also a girl mom raising “little women” and a competitive travel softball coach. Coaching and motherhood are not side notes to her story; they are where her leadership is most personal. She is deeply passionate about raising strong, confident young women- teaching them resilience, teamwork, accountability and the courage to lead with integrity at home and on the field.

Sara is also affectionately known in her community as “The Analog Mom.” What started as a repository to host articles and facts about teens and the benefits of delayed social media as her own girls approached middle school, has turned into a recognizable brand-a calm counterculture to the noise-especially the social media mayhem surrounding today’s teens. Rooted in presence, trust and real-world connection, Sara’s mission through The Analog Mom voice is to support parents who want to raise grounded, confident kids without letting algorithms shape their identity, worth and voice.

Whether she’s mentoring athletes, supporting community initiatives, or guiding conversations that shape local impact, Sara leads with authenticity, clarity and a deep commitment to the next generation. And she’d love to connect.

Let’s start a different kind of conversation.

Ready to challenge the way we’re raising kids? The Analog moms brings honest, relatable, and refreshingly real conversations to podcasts, coffee shops, schools and everywhere in-between.
